Fair work: Why does it matter?

Prof Keith Ewing talks about legislation for fair work

Join us on Monday 30th April for a lunchtime seminar featuring labour law expert Professor Keith Ewing.

Keith Ewing is Professor of Public Law at Kings College London, and has written extensively on union recognition, collective bargaining and international employment standards in the UK and Europe. He is recognised as a leading scholar in public law and labour law.

Keith has developed close ties with the labour law community in Australia. His most recent work focuses on international approaches to reforming labour law to strengthen trade union freedom. This includes constitutional reform relating to public participation in the political process and the status of social and economic rights.

At this Seminar, Keith will provide an update on labour law developments in the UK and confirm the importance of strong and enduring legislation for Fair Work in Australia.

Lunch will be provided at 12.30 in the Trades Hall Atrium. The seminar will commence at 1pm in a training room on Level 2 of Trades Hall.
